Artist statement:
Since my youth, I have always been in relation with the world of art as my father was a decorator.
I tried every kind of artistic expression: painting, drawing and photography.
Later, using pastel was a revelation. At that period, I took my inspiration in cubism. Some works were sold in auction houses in Belgium, France and Germany.
Since three years, actuality inspires me a lot (newspapers, magazines, books, television).
In my opinion, we cannot be insensible on what happens in our world.
Anything of what I feel to be injustice hurts me deeply.I try to transpose in my work my inner feelings about a certain society and my revolt against what happens in the world.I feel compassion for people who are rejected by a well-thinking society.
One of my revolts is the cruelty people can sometimes have towards the animals.I think that human beings need to be shocked in order to be wakening up in their peacefull and comfortable life.Art is a good way to express all that......
